Crete and Santorini, Greece

In late July we spent a wonderful week in Greece on the islands of Crete and Santorini. The food was delicious, the people were friendly and the sun shined every day. I want to go back. Now.

Coniston Half Marathon

Eek! It's been a while.

I am way behind with blog updates. Here are a few pictures of our trip to Amsterdam from late May, and to Coniston in the Lake District in June.

We headed to Coniston to run the Lakeland Trails half marathon, hence there are a few pictures of us in running gear.

Lizzie, running so fast she's a bit blurry

In Amsterdam, the highlight for me was the Rijksmuseum, which had recently reopened after a long renovation, as well as a freestyle bike tour of the city.
